The duration varies depending on the product used and the area treated, typically ranging from 6 months to 18 months.

The physical volume correction is instant. However, the final, settled result is seen after 2 weeks, once any initial swelling and possible mild bruising have completely subsided.

Downtime is generally minimal, though mild swelling, tenderness, and possible bruising are common. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.

Common side effects include temporary swelling, redness, and bruising at the injection site. These usually resolve within a few days to a week.

To minimize bruising, avoid anything that thins the blood (Advil, Aspirin, fish oil, high-dose Vitamin E, alcohol) for 3-5 days prior to your appointment (unless medically advised otherwise).
