These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of lunic.ca, our online booking services, and our text message and email programs.
Luníc Aesthetics & Wellness (“Luníc,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Reine Medical Aesthetics inc., located at 1729 Bank Street, Unit 203, Ottawa, Ontario K1V 7Z5. You can contact us at 613-733-7777 or info@lunic.ca.
By using our website or online booking services, you agree to these Terms. Accepting these Terms does not constitute consent to treatment or consent to receive marketing messages.
1. Website information and clinical care
The content on lunic.ca is for general information only. It is not medical advice and does not replace an individual assessment by a qualified health care professional.
Treatment suitability, potential benefits, risks, alternatives and expected outcomes are discussed before you decide whether to proceed. Treatment requires your informed consent, which you may withdraw. Results vary, and no particular outcome is guaranteed.
2. Bookings and appointments
Appointments may be booked through our online booking system, Jane, or by phone.
Applicable cancellation and no-show terms, including any fees, are disclosed before you complete your booking. Treatment fees are confirmed before you agree to proceed.
Published prices and availability may change. Any change affecting an existing booking will be communicated before you decide whether to proceed.
3. Text message and email programs
Luníc Aesthetics & Wellness offers an optional messaging program for news, skin care and treatment information, appointment communications and promotional offers.
Consent and enrolment
You enrol by checking the consent box on one of our forms (for example, the sign-up form on lunic.ca or a Meta lead form). The box is optional and is never pre-checked. By checking it, you agree to receive emails and, if you provide your phone number, text messages about skin care, treatments, appointments and offers.
Providing a phone number, booking an appointment or accepting these Terms does not by itself enrol you in marketing messages. We send messages only within the scope of the consent you provide.
Consent to receive marketing emails or text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product, booking an appointment or receiving any service. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
You must be 18 years of age or older to enrol in our text message program. The program is operated by Luníc Aesthetics & Wellness (Reine Medical Aesthetics inc.). For support, text HELP, call 613-733-7777 or email info@lunic.ca.
SMS frequency and charges
Message frequency varies according to your appointments and your interactions with us. Promotional messages may be recurring.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Stopping SMS messages and getting help
Text STOP (or reply STOP) to any of our text messages to unsubscribe. You may receive one final confirmation message, after which no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again.

You may also withdraw messaging consent by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing from text messages does not cancel an appointment.
Email and other unsubscribe requests
To unsubscribe from marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link included in each marketing email or contact us directly.
We process unsubscribe requests without delay and, in all cases, within ten business days. We do not charge a fee to process these requests.
Our commercial messages identify Luníc and provide contact information and an unsubscribe mechanism. Where space is limited, additional required identification and contact information may be provided through a clearly displayed, accessible link.
Delivery
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and network availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile information and consent data
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, mobile information or SMS opt-in and consent data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
We disclose this information to service providers only as necessary to operate and deliver our messaging programs, subject to confidentiality and restrictions on their use of the information, or where legally required. These providers are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

4. Intellectual property
The text, photos, videos, logos and other content on lunic.ca belong to Luníc or are used with permission. Except as permitted by law, you may not reproduce or reuse this content without our prior written permission.
5. Website availability and liability
We take reasonable care to keep our website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Luníc is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the website. This limitation concerns website use only. It does not limit our professional obligations in providing care or exclude any liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information, including personal health information where applicable, and how to contact us about privacy questions or requests.
Consent to receive messages does not authorize us to use or disclose your clinical records, treatment photographs or other personal health information for marketing. We obtain any separate express consent required by applicable privacy law. We do not use your photographs or videos in advertising without your explicit consent.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with its effective date. Changes apply prospectively. We will provide additional notice where required by law.
Updating these Terms does not expand your messaging consent. We will obtain fresh consent where required.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or protections available to you under applicable law.
